War in Syria leads to lost generation

MORE Syrian children were killed last year than in any other year of the civil war, a report reveals.

Unicef says more than 650 children lost their lives in 2016 – a 20 per cent spike from the year before.

With the war’s sixth anniversary this week, human rights activist Fuad Alakbarov says this lost generation are missing out on their education.
