SHELLEY Kerr has been made coach of the Scotland women’s team.
The 47-year-old leaves her position as the only female manager in the men’s game at Stirling University to take over from Anna Siguel.
Kerr said: “As a young kid when you grow up you dream of representing your country.
“I was lucky enough to do that as a player and now to get the opportunity to lead the women’s team is a dream come true.”
SFA Performance Director Malky Mackay said: “She was an outstanding candidate.
“She is a deep thinker, but also has a huge passion for football.”
