NHS Scotland to fund ‘game-changing’ HIV drug

A drug that drastically reduces the chances of HIV infection will be funded by the Scottish NHS.

The Scottish Medicines Consortium have approved the use of the “game-changing” drug known as Prep.

Liam Beattie, policy and politics officer at HIV Scotland, says it’s a positive step.
