Rangers winger Michael O’Halloran is facing crunch talks with manager Pedro Caixinha to secure his Ibrox future after he went AWOL on Monday.
The out-of-favour Scot was named in Graeme Murty’s Under 20’s squad to face Hearts but failed to show up for the 2-1 win.
The 26-year-old is believed to have made his unhappiness at being asked to play for the Gers second-string clear before the no-show.
O’Halloran trained yesterday at the club’s Auchenhowie base but has been ordered to explain his behaviour to gaffer Caixinha, who made it clear upon his arrival 100 per cent commitment from his squad was high on his list on priorities.
O’Halloran has failed to nail down a regular start since his £500,000 transfer from St. Johnstone last January, scoring 3 goals in 25 appearances since his arrival.
