Scottish pro-wrestling star Drew Galloway made his triumphant return to the WWE, the world’s largest wrestling business, last night.
The Ayrshire born performer first signed for the company in 2006 before departing in 2014.
Since then he’s spent time with rival wrestling promoters TNA, but it was with Glasgow based Insane Championship Wrestling that he really made his mark.
His performances since leaving the WWE prompted many fans to identify him as one that got away, and his former employers clearly now agree.
Galloway will now be wrestling under the name Drew McIntyre for WWE’s Wednesday night show NXT, which showcases up and coming talent.
The wrestling world has been buzzing about the Scot’s return and fans will be expecting big things to come.
