Veteran striker Robbie Winters not yet ready to hang up his boots

In April 1997 a fresh-faced 22-year-old Robbie Winters was named as the Scottish Professional Footballer’s Association young player of the year.

Two decades on, few could imagine the now veteran striker would still be playing competitive football, plying his trade for West of Scotland Super League side Pollok FC.

And, following an impressive career in which he has also won the Norwegian league and represented his country, Winters feels he’s still got plenty to offer.
